Fairy Tale Quilts
Most people know the story of the three little pigs. A mother pig who couldn't afford to feed her three piglets sent them out as soon as they were able to support themselves. There was a lazy pig , a medium lazy pig and a industrious pig. Many a quilter has chosen to immortalize stories in quilt form. Today's post will be to show you the patterns that Christie's ancestor used to make two Three Little pig quilts. I am charged with the task of finishing the work. It is something I find very satisfying. I only hope one day someone will find some of my quilt squares in a box and choose to sew them together. I also hope that I have left such wonderful directions as Christie's grandmother left behind. The useful thing of having the pattern that was used is that I can see the detail that will need to be machine stitched to bring out the details.
